Can you believe this photo was taken in 1942?
There are plenty of impressive photos like this one at Shorpy.com. It’s a nice look into a past that most of us never witnessed or long forgot. Typically, even those of us who witnessed this time period only have black and white photographs to remember those days.
When you look at a black and white photo from the 1940’s and compare it to a color photo of the same era, it really makes you think. You realize that these were real people and that the world didn’t look so much different as you thought. I would highly suggest taking a look at these great photographs at www.shorpy.com.
